Happy November 1st!
I hope everyone had a great Halloween. Mine was good overall but there were definitely moments where I stopped and asked myself what the hell is happening and why the hell am I here. The plan was to get a big group of people together and walk down the street to this pirate ship maze that this one family builds every year for all the trick or treaters. This was our first year actually going in it though. It was kind of lame. Very short but really good and well done for the kids and that's all that matters.
From the pirate ship maze we met up with our friend Kristen and went trick or treating with her, her husband, and her son and then after trick or treating went party hopping. While trick or treating though I notice a very familiar car parked in the neighborhood we are in and I realize that it's my ex boyfriend's. I put two and two together and know that he is at our friend David's house probably partying and whatnot. I get a little paranoid because I realized I really didn't want to see him that night at all. So while walking around with Kristen's kid collecting all this candy loot we keep getting closer and closer to David's house and I want to avoid stopping at the house so bad but there was nothing I could do. Everyone starts walking up to the door and I stop and pull my friend Shane to the side and tell him what's up and that I really didn't feel comfortable seeing them right now. Shane says "okay" and stays back with me to wait for the rest of the group to get the candy and come back but my friend Stephanie (who is hammered at the time) notices us stopping so she comes up to us and asks what's wrong, so I tell her that Cris (my ex) is in the house and I just really don't feel like saying hi or anything. Steph has never met Cris before so the go up to the house and ring the doorbell. David answers the door and then I hear Stephanie yell "Criiiiiissssss!!!!! Cris come to the door!" My heart drops at this point and I'm just like SHIT! So I walk just a little further down the street with two of my friends and wait for this fiasco to be over with. The group meets back up with me and the two others with me and Stephanie tells me the whole conversation which went something like this...
Steph: "What up plaaayyyyaaaa?!"
Cris: "I don't know who you are."
-Cris looks at my best friend Frank right next to Stephanie and apparently His face dropped-
Cris: "What are you doing here?"
Steph: "Oh you know! Trick or treating with Camden here! Adrienne's down the street trick or treating!
Cris: "Oh..."
Stephanie said he said "oh" in a way that was mixed with surprise, sadness, and fear. Then told me that he was wearing a basketball jersey and looked gross and that he's nothing to get upset over. Then she told me that there were two girls on the couch with him and David and that one was "fat and they were both gross and ugly." From that point on I felt okay, I could enjoy myself and have a good time. Soo there were a lot of drinks and shots. I watched a few good physical fights, lots of tears, good jokes, great dancing and all between my friends. No drama with me though. =] I was good and drunk.
I woke up this morning on the floor in my friend's living room. I looked around and there were just people scattered all over the place sleeping. It was kind of bizarre, I didn't think i would ever witness that in my life. It seems like that only happens at parties on TV. At 7:05 AM I get a text from Cris and this was our conversation..
Cris: "You're so sketch!"
Me: "Hmm. Goodmorning? Haha."
Cris: "Yes. Goodmorning. Hahaha."
Me: "^_^ I'm freezing."
Cris: "Why?"
Me: "Because it's like negative 2 right now."
Cris: "Ohhhh. It's too hot in my room to be cold."
Me: "Lol, oh really? Why are you up so early?"
Cris: "I had Adrienne withdrawlz. lolol."
Me: "Hahaha, goddddd. I feel like asshole."
Cris: "Whyyy?"
Me: "Cause I drank a lot last night and my stomach is a bubbling messssss and sleeping on the floor is not as cool as it sounds. hah."
Cris: "Hahaha shouldn't have been a hussy."
Me: "lol. I'm not a hussy at allllll! lololol, I just looked in the mirror."
Cris: "Hahahahaha and you're a hussy?"
Me: "And I look like a hot mess! "I just saw like a 30 person deep walk of shame... it was like the million man march but with dorm chicks." hahahaah."
Cris: "What the fuck."
Me: "lol. textsfromlastnight.com! In all seriousness though I would like a shower. I feel like pigpen from Charlie Brown. There are probably dirt clouds moving around me."
Yup.
So when I got home from the party I played The Sims all day long. It's now 2:00PM and I'm about to work out and shower then go to a friends for Taco Night! I hope everyone is doing well!
