Ok The Turkey Time is upon us.
My boyfriends parents are up for the holidays and they get to meet my Mother and her boyfriend for the 1st time. My Father is being a giant male dangly part and is "too busy" to have dinner even though I had made plans with him 1 month ago. Suddenly he is an AVID Bowler and has to go to his Wife's (CUNT) best friend's DAUGHTER's Sweet 16 (she isn't going to know that he is even there and the food at the Brownstone in NJ is awful).
So basically He may wear the pants but she picks them out.
My Mother, Grandmother (moms mom), Aunt (his sister), Grandfather (his father), Brother, Friends and my Therapist all agree that he is a moron.
So now I have the uneasy task of explaining to my FUTURE IN-LAWS that my father is unavailable and we are not gonig to see him even though we are literally going to be DOWN THE BLOCK from where he lives.
I am not going to give him the satisfaction. I gave him ample time to make his schedule clear and I know that he is the one that is going to be missing out.
ANYWAY... Going to have a great time with them and eat lots of turkey. My Mother is excited to meet them and So is HER side of the family. There are 16 expected for Dinner - Gonna be fun.
Have a Great Thanksgiving No matter what you do and remember that Blood is Thicker than water. If someone would like to pass that info to my father that would be greatly appreciated.
