Wow. Disney 2.0 was such a great time. And I could just say "I have returned from Disney ... the mouse comes home with me, as always" but that just doesn't cut it.

That mouse doesn't mean much to me and, despite all of their infinitely pervasive branding and marketing, I barely remembered that the grand old Disney corporation had much of anything to do with my trip.

For me the coolest part was the wonderful folks I got to meet and spend time with. The rides were cool, EricAllen's informative tours of all the "wold famous" sights were great and who wouldn't enjoy the chance to storm about the Disney landscape with 60 or so other "freaks" makin' a big scene.

But above all that, life comes down to the people you share it with (like some of the awesome folks who left comments in my previous journal entry). The cool folks I met reminded me that I probably should make an effort not to be such an absent lurker type in this way cool community of ours here.

Now I'm off to go tell a few of those folks that they just happen to rock my socks.

Thanks, EricAllen, for the superb hospitality and the tons of this that and whatnot it take to pull a shindig like this together.

yep... crashing on a speaker 2.0... At whatever time I was getting too tired to stay awake, all the couches appeared to be taken by people making out... dammit on not being one of those people lol... despite what you may think, sleeping on a speaker isn't as comforting or as refreshing as it looks... lol
