I was reading through some of my old journals from High School and it was interesting to hear the things that I said about my friends back then, and what they said about me.
One quote, from my cousin Matt, has to be one of the three best compliments I've ever gotten in my life (i'm embarrased to admit that I'd forgotten it)
"You gave me a mind, or at least showed me how to use it".
He told me that the year after he graduated High School, when I was a Senior.
I'm really proud of that guy; he's starting college in January, having finally decided its what he wants to do after all, and is really gearing up to make something of himself.
There were times when people told me to just give up on him, when parts of ME were telling me to do the same; but he was family, and I just couldn't do it. So, I kept having faith that he'd pull himself up by the bootstraps eventually; and now it looks like he has.
I am REALLY proud of that guy

Both pics are in Bedford County...the second as you can see is a walk only bridge. It was really nicely kept. There are string of bridges on the Covered Bridge Tour down there...see the website here. It gives all the details also.

I pulled all the info one year off this site and took a friend with me to take photos. She wanted "model" type photos so I did some pics on the bridges for her too that she used on a modeling profile or something...don't remember all the details other than she is materialistic..haha. I didn't get to see all the bridges on the site but I did see about 8 in all. I plan on seeing the rest sometime as well and I want to take some pics of them in the winter also.

I picked up a FujiFilm 3800 on ebay for about $125...i put in a 1gb card and that way I can snap off high MB images and have room for tons of photos too...i presently use them on 1mb mostly...I am no pro by any means but I try. and I do it only for my enjoyment overall. I am glad you like the photos...
