Firefly did end up working and it was pretty good. Not as good as Angel, but really really interesting. It's a combination sci-fi Western, which you'd think would be awful, but it's not. These people fly around in spaceships, and sort of act as courriers/thieves. The back drop is that a number of years ago there was a unification of a number of the planets, mostly involuntarily, by something called the alliance. It made me think of NAFTA. I'm renting more tonight. I should marry Joss Whedon so I can inspire him to write/produce more stuff. But he's not francophone. Is he?
