Met muirtach last night to hear the Mathematicians play up in Truckee. They are a mathematically themed alternative/punk/hip-hop/electronica rock band. Sort of. They are quite chaotic, in any case, so I wholeheartedly approve of and recommend them. 
A good show, but the club was a little too crowded.
Afterwards, on the way to Incline to crash at my folk's place, I noticed that my friends in Sol Jibe were playing at the Tahoe Biltmore, so I swung in to listen for a while. Also said "Hi!" to my bro, who works security there.
Today was the Earth Day celebration in Idlewild Park in Reno. We in Slow Djinn Fez played a set for the Asha Bellydancers.
My fingers were nearly frozen by the cold wind. 
The boys in Sol Jibe played a set right before ours, in spite of being up late late late the night before (or early early early this morning, if you want to look at it that way) I figure they had to have slept in until almost noon!

Ah well I'd prefer to get a job somewhere closer to home but thank you very much! I'm hoping that maybe I can get a job at ShopKo. I'm also holding out for Blockbuster once my birthday comes around. We should hang out sometime since I've still got nothing much to do. LOVE
