The Laurie Anderson show last Tuesday was indeed excellent! 
Went out for beers afterwards with my friends Jerry and Jill, and had a wonderfully intense and fascinating conversation with Jill's friend Mairin. You know, one of those conversations where everything just clicks, and you understand everything the other person is saying because you could almost have said it yourself. 
Saturday I went to hear the Sierra Nevada Balalaikas play their spring concert. Then went to the afterparty. And boy, do those Russians know how to party! Tons of good food, good music, good wine, and very good vodka!
Tomorrow evening, I and my Irish band have a gig at some official shindig at the Eldorado. Which means I should logout and go to sleep now....
