Last Friday I partied hard, hard, hard at a Halloween party that my girlfriend (Hi, Honey! ) invited me to. And drove me home from. Nice that she can drive a stick-shift. I was barely in condition to walk by that point.

I was pleased to find that I knew about half the people at the party, even though I'd not met the host before, nor been to his house. Happened to know his girlfriend, though, who was a favorite student of one of my father's best friends. Small world. Also there was a poet/film-maker of my acquaintance, and several mutual friends of my girlfriend and me.

Went as Hell's salesman. Lou Cifer. Horns, red hair and beard, suit and tie. Offering a dozen reasons or more for you to sell your soul. (Great deals are still available! Operators are standing by!) Someone got a picture, I think. If I can get a copy, I'll post it!
