This past Saturday MrPinstripeSuit had a grand whiskey-tasting party at his place. Several of our mutual friends from previous years were there. And after whiskey, whisky, whisky, beer, and more whiskey, some of us got the munchies and went on an early-morning Oreo cookie run to the 7-Eleven! 
I had promised to blog some details of my recent Boston trip, which I think I shall do piecemeal. A definite high point of that trip was the Irish music sessiun at the Green Briar on Monday night. It was mighty, yes, and I almost cried to see so many musicians. We don't have sessiuns like that here in Reno
which makes me want to move back to Boston (seriously). That cute blonde fiddle-player 
at the sessiun may or may not be another motivation!
