I'm sorry, friends, faithful readers, and chance passers by, for my infrequent posts of late. What has kept me away is all the work I've been doing for an upcoming dance production: Moonlit Arabian Nights. I'm composing the music for one of the acts ("Ali Baba"), and besides that we've had our band rehearsals, dance company rehearsals, preview performances and more. 
A couple of days ago we had a big photo shoot, doing PR shots for the two dance companies involved, our band (Slow Djinn Fez), and the principal dancers and musicians. It was fun, but intense. When I get the pictures, I'll see if I can't post a few up here --- at least, the ones of me!

Mon: Dance/music rehearsal
Tue: Birthday party for a friend in another band
Wed: Dance/music rehearsal
Thu: Preview performance oF Act I and Act IV.
