I'm pretty blotchy with the old blog so I think it is time to update where I left off.
So me and my now fiancée @boston_ have been living up in Melbourne for a week and a half now and already everything seems to be moving forward again. The first week or so was pretty hectic with getting set up in what may be our permanent place and getting used to everything in the surrounding suburbs as well as public transport. Finding a job thus far has been pretty annoying with nothing to come of it. Having said that it's still early days yet and as the old saying goes, anything that's not hard to get isn't worth getting or something like that.
In terms of gigs and other events it's been awesome! Already booked out for the next few months with gigs among other things. Some of which include some of my favourite bands such as Knapsack, Spiderbait, Basement and the Whitlams. All of which I am stoked about. Also finished writing my band's next EP which has taken me 6 months to write new material for! I'll keep everyone updated on that one.
That brings us up to this weekend. While I was outside the fountain in Carlton Gardens outside the Exhibition Centre I got down on one knee and proposed to @boston_. As you could probably tell from how I started this blog entry we are now officially engaged but also absolutely exhausted from Oz Comic Con.
