So this will be my first official attempt at tackling the SG homework posted by the lovely @MISSY @RAMBO @LYXZEN
Being a SG Photographer hopeful, I'd love for you guys to get to know me a little better and would love to work and shoot with as many SG and SGHs interested in collaborating together..Reviewing my brief time on SG, I'm so gracious to all the amazing women I've had the opportunity to work/collaborate with..Not to mention beyond excited for my debut set, Eat Me.Drink Me with @hensely coming out in less than three short months..
I'm so pumped to have introduced @prez to the world of SG as I finish up edits on her debut set..you guys..she's so awesome and absolutely stunning..
Hands down my most memorable weekend from these past couple months had to be my mini shoot fest down in Atlanta where I finally got to shoot with the newly pink @manic and the equally amazing @keekeez Get set for four sets from that weekend..such an amazingly fun time..
My last set of the year was this past weekend with Nashville hopeful, @allinichole .. It's pretty awesome, how many wonderful people I've gotten to meet and shoot with..
Not to mention..I got an opportunity to start working on a regular basis on a non SG capacity with the super awesome and beautiful @auburn
1. Personal Pace when Editing
Which brings me to my first resolution..For those people who know me..I LOVE shooting..if I could I would shoot everyday..my brain is constantly working through ideas..if only I had enough SG and SGHs to shoot nearby..seriously guys..Everyday..my hope and resolution is to improve on my pace when editing..don't get me wrong..I'm by no means at all..slow, but am very much a perfectionist..My work has always been and always be about quality over quantity..
2. More Traveling means More Shooting
This is a resolution/goal I got the ball rolling early on this past Fall..Since late October, I've booked trips for Los Angeles, Quad Cities (middle of nowhere IL) Austin, Denver and potentially Vegas for the first four months of the year..This is not counting any of the local shoots (driving distance) I'm still in the process coordinating within that time period as well..hopefully Michigan and maybe Ohio or Philly .. It'd be so fun to get to shoot with @aniston and @pulchra
3. Get Five Set of the Days
Which leads to my next goal/resolution for the year..I would LOVE to become an SG staffer, before I can even think of that..I need 5 set of the days..With a slew of sets soon to be submitted..one could hope odds are in my favor and the world of SG love the aesthetic of the sets I've shot..in the meantime, I'll keep chugging along and shoot with as many SG and hopefuls as I can and see if I can make this goal a reality..
4. Find More Designers to Collaborate With..
Most SG and SGHs who I've shot with know this quality I have, I get kinda geeky on fashion..more specifically lingerie. At this point, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with some amazing designers worldwide..including Majo Rey, Toru and Naoko, Pamela Cooper Intimates and Kayleigh Peddie to name a few..but there are so many more designers (ahem..@july )making some amazing pieces out there (not to take away from any of the designers I am currently collaborating together) Australia has so many stunning designers and I'd love to crack into that world this year and showcase as many SG ladies I can in their pieces..
This last one..a more personal one..tonight pretty much marks a year since I became a single father to the most amazing person on this earth..my beautiful 9yo daughter,Anderson..
I want to be continue to try to be the best father I can as I overcome the daily challenges of a single parent..
