So, I had a shoot with a photographer a little while back (I'm unsure of the date-but I know I had told you lovlies about it), and I understand that sometimes that there are scheduling snafus, and that life happens, but to still not have gotten my prints/cd yet, is completely ridiculous.
I had tried e-mail the photographer on several occasions, and never getting a response. So I finally went back to Model Mayhem and sent him a message on there simply asking if he'd gotten my e-mails and if he had already had the chance to go through the pictures I had sent back to him. This was his response;

" had a lot going on in my life the past few weeks on July 23, 2013 my girlfriends brother who lives in Georgetown was getting in his car, and a white man walked up to him and hit him in his head with a baseball bat. My girlfriends brother was air lifted to MUSC and he remained in the trauma ICU in a coma for 14 days and in the hospital for another 16 day. Today he is a 35 year old man that cannot write his name, cant remember what happen yesterday and he not expected to recover. The white guy was caught and arrested and he stated that his girlfriend had sex with a black guy, he found out about it, got mad and just hit the first black guy he saw. My girlfriends brother didnt even know that guys girlfriend or him for that matter. The guy was charged with assault and the judge set bond at $5,000.00 and the guy paid $500.00 and went home, my girlfriend brother had a $15,000.00 helicopter ride just to get to the hospital and a hospital bill of $95,000.00 my girlfriend spent a lot of time at MUSC and so did I. I think we spent about 3 of the 4 weeks he was in the hospital there. My girlfriend would to go on Model Mayhem {my profile} every day to spend time and take her mind off her brother, she would look at photos for us to do and plan shoots with other models because I was in Charleston with her, but I was not on the computer much.

After the photo shoot with you, I sent you some photos to consider and it appeared that responding back to me was not a high priority to you so at some point it did not come a high priority to me. Then when my girlfriends brother was in the hospital editing your photos sort of dropped off my list of things to do all together. I have a few photo shoot planned starting Tue of next week so I will get to editing your photos before I do my next photo shoot."

Now, do keep in mind this was sent to me on August 29th, and here it is, September 6th. Like I understand, life happens and sometimes things get in the way. When I was going to be delayed getting back to him, I sent him a message and let him know what was going on. I was the bridesmaid in a close friend's wedding, and her original venue ended up getting flooded out not even 3 days before the wedding. So we were having to scramble around trying to find another venue for approximately the same time and day as she had family coming in from out of town. I sent him an apology and got the photos to him as quickly as I could. I don't see this "not being a high priority" to me.
And to be honest, the photos he did send me via phone that he edited (he sent me two to show what they would look like) I honestly wasn't quite impressed. The sky was severely over-photoshopped, and so was I. To be honest, most of the pictures themselves were not exactly flattering.
*sigh*
I would like to get back into this with someone who was serious about this, not just dicking around.
