It was my birthday yesterday (18th Sept) and I spent the day in an ancient and time honoured fashion.
Yes, I watched season 1 of Buffy. Mint!
So, another year gone and one more step closer to the grave. Ain't I a cheery old sod?
I did go out in the evening for a lovely Thai meal, though. I'm such a party animal.
I'm 37 years young now. I can just about cope with that as 37 feels just like 36 which felt just like 35 & 34 & 33 etc. etc. Hitting the big four zero in 3 years time, though, may be another story. I'm already starting to prepare for my feared mental collapse in the build up to that day.
Anyway, I've got this week off work to chill out, and I'm gonna drag my ass up to Bristol's Forbidden Planet comic shop and waste some dosh on comics, books and any other geeky stuff that takes my fancy.
As someone else who had trouble growing up once said, Captain James T Kirk I think - "Second star to the right, and straight on till morning."

Happy 37th, I'm not that far behind you myself. Forbidden Planet is an awesome place to spend your birthday money, especially since they moved it from Broadmead and got the new big one up on the Triangle!
