Does anyone remember Freddy's nightmares?
In the mid 80's, there was a show called Freddy's nightmares. Someone had the bright idea of taking Nightmare on Elm Street and turning it into a television series. And I watched it religiously. (Fuck off, I was 11) well Chiller has decided to re-air those old episodes at 3am.
I liked the show but Im not staying up til 3am to watch them. So I set my DVR and Im watching it right now. It has been a parade of big 80's hair, Bad dialog, actors who were has beens 20 years ago, and some of the greatest bad story telling ever. All hosted by Freddy Krueger himself. And Im loving every minute of it.
In this episode:
A woman named Greta is cheating on her unemployed husband,Lenny, with a douchebag named Hank. Greta gets a call that Lenny dropped dead of a heart attack. Hank insists that the he be buried immediately so they can get married.

A month after the dead Lenny caper, Greta and Hank find out that Lenny bought a winning $20 million lottery ticket that he was somehow buried with. so they go to the mosoleum where Lenny was buried.
(can you be buried in a mosoleum?)
Greta is having second thoughts about checking a dead man's pockets when Hank tells her to get over it. He reminds her that half of that money is his.
(Remember? Douchebag)
They go through all of Lenny's pockets and find nothing. Greta remembers that Lenny always kept his Lottery tickets in the cookie jar back home
(You couldnt think of that before violating a dead man's resting place? How do you skip cookie jar and go straight to the mosoleum?)
Realizing that she is about to split $20 million with a douchebag, she clubs hank over the head with a mag light, seals him in the tomb, and goes to claim her winnings.
(And somehow everyone over looks the fact that this bitch has been married twice in the past month, both husbands are either dead or missing, and now she is $20 million dollars richer. Is this really bad or have I been watching too much Law & Order?)
Fast Forward to a few months later and Greta starts recieiving phone calls from a man who says that he is her husband. So she starts freaking out, thinking that Hank got out of the Mosoleum. NOPE, it was a gravedigger who instead of blackmailing her, wants her to marry him. WHAT THE FUCK?
