One more week out here! This is the first time I have ever been able to take off more than 1 week in a row and it feels damn good. The weather next week looks like it will suck, but it shouldn't hamper taking pictures since the trees are changing colors fast! It was 34 yesterday and the snow line was at about 4500 feet so the tallest peaks are all snowcapped which is great. The cold spell really accelerated the change in colors and there are some amazing purples and oranges in the underbrush amongst the yellows in the trees.
I would move out here in a heartbeat pending I could transfer. I mean yeah it gets cold as hell, but the people are polite, theres no traffic, the scenery is breathtaking, pollution is few and far between, you can off-road, drive a quad anywhere, snowmobile, ski and not bother a soul. Any season of the year, I have something that I love to do that I can do that I could never do at home without taking a 2 hour drive.
