ever since i was a little kid i was never good at school. i remember the extreme feelings of inadequacy cause i couldnt grab simple concepts. in high school i hid behind drugs and i barely graduated. i weaseled my my way through college by going to devry. it was a joke. basically i paid for a diploma.

so as most of you know i was told by my firm that because of
compliance reasons i had to pass the NASD Series 7 exam. the Series 7 is a 7 hour 260 question, multiple choice exam. its all based on financial investing topics like stock options, us govt and muni bonds. and a shit load on rules and regulations of all of the exchanges, bla bla bla....

two months ago i was given a practice disk by my firm with 1650 questions. for the past two months i spent at least 5 to 8 hours EVERY day studying. all the while bringing back the inadaquit feelings that i had during childhood. i was studying my ass off and but i just wasnt getting it. all my practice tests were coming up with awful scores and way below 70% and you need to get a 70% to pass. i was gettin majorly depressed. and to top it off, this chick that sits next to me, that went to princeton, studied for 2 weeks and took the exam and got a 90%. grrrr

there's nothing worse then feeling like your stupid.

so, i took the test this morning....

i got a 74% which aint the prettiest, but i passed and thats
all that matters.

so whats next? now ive got all this free time on my hands. im not too sure. i do know that im gonna grab a few tacos and a gallon of oarnge gatorade, im gonna play my favorite tune with my skin flute, get high as hell, pop in some beavis and butthead and veg.
