Yesterday the great and wise voters of Misery, oops, Missouri voted on a constitutional admendment to ban gay marrage. Can you guess what happened? Fucking backwards ass hillbilly mofos.
Anyway....
Life for me has been pretty good. Been doing a fair amount of reading, doing a great deal of thinking. One of the questions I ask myself the most is "Is it worth it?" While I was getting ready and making the trip up to the club Monday I was asking myself that about H. Is all the hasle, the expense, the time worth it?
Yes, I really missed being in a relationship before she came into my life, but I was still relitivly happy. I was actually planning on NOT being involved for a couple more years. I have too many things to do to justify being in a relationship.
Well, along came H. We all know what happened (if you don't, just read the back log). All my plans have to be adjusted. It's rather annoying.
The answer to the question....
Yes, of course. Yes, a relationship may be expensive, time demanding, etc., But the moments we have to ourselves, the time we spend cuddling and talking, the love (yes, I'm actually using the "L" word now) we share makes it all worth it.
In all my life, I've never had a person so perfectly fit the term "partner."
