Well my weekend was great. Nothing really 'exciting'...but great nonetheless.
Saw Skeleton Key. Loved it.
Got all the returns done at work. HUGE weight off my back.
Got to sleep in a bit with my baby twice.
Cleaned the FUCK out of my kitchen. Put up my dirty magnetic poetry set on the fridge. Took about an hour to put all those damn little words up there.
Took a nice relaxing shower & masturbated in the tub...yuummm....then did a rejuvenating/cleansing herbal face masque. I'm super clean.
Cleaned the FUCK out of my bedroom. I dusted. I got two giant trashbags full of shit to give to the Salvation Army. When all was said and done, I had cleaned out two whole dresser drawers. So now I actually have room to put my 60+ pairs of underwear.
That took up most of my day.
Did a tiny bit of grocery shopping. Made a super nice meal for dinner last night.
Played with my cats. A LOT.
Re-painted my chipped finger nails. Mmmm...black nail polish.
And last but not least, fell asleep watching Monster on the couch with my baby. I almost made it to the end of the movie this time....he just makes a really good pillow!
See? Not exciting. But I feel great today. Too bad I have to work all day. Seems like everybody is off today. Hell, I haven't had one customer here since we've been open at 10.
Going to see Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings tomorrow night. If you don't know who they are..you should. Go pick up a copy of her second album "Naturally" at your local record store today. You won't be disappointed. Promise.
