Well....I did it. I finally sent in my set. It's been over a year since SG said, hey we like you send in a set, and I've finally gotten my shit together and done it.

So wish me luck.

I'm getting a new kitty (hence me not being able to afford to go to Busch Gardens with you all)...it's a lil' black girl kitty, and I'm naming her Bettie (for obvious reasons). She's in the process of getting shots/checked for FIV & Lukemia/fixed...gotta make sure that's done before she meets my kitty...don't want anything happening to him.

My poor baby Floyd was just getting too lonely by himself all day...and it just so happened that a friend of mine needed to find a home for some babies, and when I met her....she just fell into my shoulder. I hope Floyd gets used to her OK. I don't want him to be jealous & think I don't love him as much...cuz he's my first baby boy...first pet ever, and I will break when he leaves me. So kisses to you Mr. Fattybutt!

My new roomate is set to be moving in by August. We just have to get her current room rented out, and we're set. She's rad as shit. Like I said...me in another body....

I've gotten a hell of a lot accomplished at work lately. Which is awesome. It makes me feel sooooooooo good. I'm a work-a-holic, and I just never could get the store set so I could work on my projects to better it...and I think we've kind of gotten everyone into a really good working pattern so that the day to day shit doesn't overwhelm them anymore, and I can take the time to do my shit without fearing that the lines are getting too long, or the phones aren't getting answered.

So I haven't been dreaming about work then...

This whole 'getting caught up feeling' is fucking awesome. And it's about goddamn time.

I only get one day off a week. One day to be just me. Do my stuff...so it's nice to actually relax on that day, but with so much looming over my head all the time, I always feel like I'm letting myself down by not accomplishing all this shit I gotta do....but...I've been telling myself lately that as long as I get something done that I've been meaning to do for a long time, I've succeeded. And that's the way it's been for the last month. I've gotten more stuff crossed off my list that way. So I still take time to relax, but I get up during the commercials and clean or whatever. It feels good. It makes me happy.

Next Tuesday is my baby's birthday...what do you get the guy who literally has (or could buy) everything? He is by far the hardest person in the world to ever shop for.

I'm definitely taking him out for dinner (and dessert, oh!)...but what to get him.........hmmmm................I've got a week to think about it.
