Hello all!!!!!!!!! Time for a real update.
Things have (again) been fantastic and terrible all at the same time.....
First off.........I got a new car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK..well it's a used car. But it's new to me. And I love it.
I am the proud owner of a '99 Saturn SL1. It's gun-metal silver. It has a CD player. No power windows or door locks...but fuck it! It was only $5000!!!! It has almost 114,000 miles on it because it was originally a rental car. So they're all highway miles. I fucking LOVE it.
Now how did I purchase such a car when everyone knows I make table scraps for a living???..........
Here's where the miracle comes in.
I went to Saturn last week and applied for a loan. I knew I couldn't afford more than $5000 worth of car, and I definitely couldn't spend more than $100 a month paying for it. Well...because I'm all fucked up and belong to a 'credit-management program (ie. I pay one bill, they disperse it amongst the creditors, and creditors drop my APR-Alot)' I couldn't get a good enough rate on a car without having to put down a deposit because I HAD to have a 60 month term. Well.....the bank wouldn't lend to me for a car that's over 100,000 miles for so long b/c it's a liability..........
So, when I told my parents this....they offered to buy the fucking car for me, and I would pay them $100 a month interest free!!!!!!!
Can you believe that????? And no strings attatched either! I'm free to have things drawn into my body permanently (presuming I can afford it), and not have them bitch at me or take back the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So...as a thanks to them....I'm taking out my tounge ring...well actually my dentist is making me take out my tounge ring-it's making my gums receed...but mom and dad don't need to know that....they just need to see how much I appreciate their help.

And now for the shitty news......
My 'new' roomate is backing out on me.
Let's just say...(because she might read this at some point)...that because of her 'health' problems....her 'mother' is making her move closer to Northern Virginia for a doctor....well it was Northern Virginia at first...then when she found out Lynchburg was further from NoVa...her doctor was then in Lynchburg.....why Lynchburg you wonder....cuz her new 'boyfriend' lives there.
So yeah....she signs a sublease...then a week later, mysteriously passes out all the time....gains a boyfriend.....decides to move to Lynchburg for a 'doctor'.
She tells me the other day, she's got her keys to give back to me and if she needs to sign anything to let her know...and I say...uh....you signed the sublease. You're responsible for rent till you're replaced. Her face drops. The realization that she done fucked herself over (again) starts sinking in. So.....she says she's leaving middle of next month, she knows she has to pay rent for next month....let's see how hard it is for me to get...Last time, her check tome (which was late to begin with) bounced, which meant my check to the landlord bounced...so she had to get money from mommy and daddy to cover all the fees (I was decent enough to let the $10 fee to my landlord slip by)......
So yeah....Fun times.
I'm really fucking tired of worrying whether or not the other half of my rent is going to be paid every month. This shit is ridiculous.
I've got a couple of options working....it's just gonna take some time to figure if they'll work out (never fear Cheech).
But hey...if they take my apartment-I've always got my hot Saturn to sleep in.

In other news....SG set is finally getting it's last preparations to be sent in hopefully by start of next week....
I may be taking a first set with a local photographer who's going to PAY ME BITCH!!!!........Can we say...first car payment?
I'm seeing the Raveonettes at Black Cat in DC this Saturday.
I get to hang with Cheap Trick next week at their show here in RVA (and get tons of free beer tickets).
That dumb bachelorette party is next Friday & Saturday....you know I'm the only brides maid (including the bride) that can still fit in her dress?
Kinda funny, don't ya think?
