What a great weekend it was. Finished (sort of) my Halloween costume in the nick of time. I ran out of time and material to do one detail...but I will finish it, because I'm going to shoot my SG set w/ my costume....which means I still can't tell you what it is because I don't want any other bitches out there stealing this idea either. But I will say this.....IT WILL BE PHAT! And it will be an instant classic. Without a doubt. It's gonna be one of those sets that SG just can't say no too. TRUST ME. I can't fucking wait.

So I wore the costume all day at work on Saturday-made some of my co-workers drool. Posed for several pictures. KILLED my poor feet walking around in a *tight* pair of red boots I ordered through the 'Boo. Didn't really do much Saturday night-just went to my fav watering hole, and had a nice dinner with my man. Friday night though, we went to see Friday the 13th Part III in 3D. It was cool. There were some dicks in the audience, and I nodded off a bit due to costume making lack of sleep. Then Sunday I went to Kings Dominion with my good friend Dave. I heart him. He's like, the only friend that I have that lives out of town and I still get to see him several times a year. We had a good time. Rode a lot of rides, including the 'people dropper' as we liked to call it, the Volcano, that new thing that shoots straight up and straight back down at like 120 MPH. Good times. Went throught a not so scary 'Psycho Path', and rode the not so scary old-timey cars in the middle of the park. There were people dressed up all bloody and shit going around scaring the crap out of people there. I SO have to do that next year. Apparently they have a casting call for it early October. Hell yes. They had creepy fake dead people and skeletons and caskets and shit set up around the park, and there were fog machines and lights everywhere. Once it got dark, I got a lot of good shots w/ my digi camera. All in all. Good day. Oh, and I ate really good french fries.

Things w/ roomie are good. He read my last two journals, and came and talked to me about it. Well...after I did go home last week and made him try and get it out..but he just didn't realize how much he'd affected me, and life around me/him/work/my beau. But I understand now. And he understands me. Journals are good. I never hold back from my SG journal. Never have. Never will. So, yes he's got some problems, but yes he's making progress on them. And it took a lot of gumshun to come and talk to me about it...for that, I am proud of him.

I did. It was fun watching all those old peoples faces when I walked in fishnets, boots, punked out with my rainbow stripped purse strap and my anti-Bush buttons. They got scared. My fav Bush button:

But really....I just want my little brother home.

He gets leave this month for 15 days. He shipps out from Iraq Nov. 24th (day b/f Thanksgiving), and probably gets here the day after Thanksgiving. Which is good. A. I get to take a day of rest on Thanksgiving b/c we're going to wait till Sunday to have it-so I get an extra day off work. B. It's after the new Nirvana boxset comes out which is going to be his Christmas present that he can take back with him. And C. it's a weekend, and he wants me to take him to a punk show. I'm so proud of him. His musical taste has increased three fold since shipping out. But...I think I had something to do with that. I've sent him about 60 new artists that he hadn't heard of before....I want him back home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
