9 days and counting....headache set in today...drank beer at a club last night and survived without a cigarette....soar throat is gone and still don't want a cigarette....when I make it past tomorrow it will be the longest I've gone without a cigarette-EVER. Anyway......

Filmed Denali last night. That was sweet. They actually had a guy there doing a 5 camera shoot. I definitely hit it off with him...he gave me great advice and will be (hopefully) calling on me for help soon. I fucking wish I hadn't blown that money I got for graduation...I mean, I didn't blow it perse. I did pay off half my credit debt, took a trip to CA, bought a computer and a digital camera. But I wish to god I had gotten a minidv. I hate not having one. It was no problem before because I always had college to lend me one, but now.....I feel like my mission has taken a step backwards because I can't do 2 camera shoots now. My creative energies are being stiffled. Urgh. I know that this part of my life is a waiting period/stepping stone for me, and I just have to wait it out-but shit it gets on my nerves. I'm impatient. I want to be successful now-not on my way to being....fuck I hate the real world.

when you don't buy cigarettes you don't give money to "the man" to fund his "war on drugs". it's a good thing!!

I save approximately $1700 dollars a year by not smoking cigarettes. That's around $135-$140 a month if you figure that a pack costs $4.50. The first year I quit, I bought myself a new guitar. This year, I bought a decent digital camera to get started with. Next year, who knows... maybe a lighting kit or something.

If you gave me a copy of the original tapes, I could put it on DVD for you. Depends on the quality I guess.
