More updates on the accident in blacksburg, one kid has passed away...pray for him and his family and friends...one other is still in critical condition. the kid who died was only a freshman. he had been at college for only a month and was probably attending one of his first shows. the roomates of the house are still very distraught, and do not know whether or not any charges will be brought against them. no word yet on the condition of the others (# unknown).

Ok, first of all, they have been putting shows on there for 50 fucking years. Second, Homer, the guy who started it all and is now the landlord, supposedly had fixed the window. Third of all, how does the whole fucking frame of a window fall out? That doesn't happen. That's what it's there for. "Freak" accidents can happen anywhere, at anytime. So yes, they should have been throwing shows at a place with such a sketchy window.

Yes, the media had tried to arrange the story in such a way to make it seem like it was a "slam dancing(I swear, those were their words)" incident, but you know as well as I do, that place was perfectly safe to dance. It was indeed an ubusual and freakish turn of events. I think this will be very difficult for the guys who live there now. I dont know them, but I hope it works out OK for them.
