So there I am. Laying in my bed, at that point when you're almost asleep and you can think, but not move...and for a while now, my ceiling has been slowly sinking....so it wouldn't be uncommon for me to wake up and find pieces of ceiling in my bed....but now, i can hear the pieces trickling faster...closer together. i strain to listen as hard as i can...i can hear it creaking...i think to myself, oh shit, that's gonna go...i ponder how much time i have before it goes...3 minutes? I jump up, move the antique table my grandfather made out of the way, remove a vase, candle holder, picture frame, move some shit out of the way...and not 30 seconds from jumping out of bed, the god damned ceiling showers down, spraying a thick gritty dust (possibly lead) over my entire bedroom. Covers my whole bed, all my furniture, window treatments, the 30 or so hangers spilled on the floor, MY CLOTHES because i have no closet and they're just on a rack out in the open. I'm gonna sue the pants off 'em.
