interesting day today.
nice weather, hanging out by myself.
did some vacuuming, and now i'm listening to some live Janis Joplin. i'm still in love with her just as much as i was the first time i heard her wail.
i've been reading a collection of Kafka short stories made into a graphic novel. i love Kafka. probably just about as much as i love Janis.
anyhow, it inspired me to write my own, which i have not done in quite some time.
i, however, am no Kafka.
oh, and by the way, my good friend the Reverend John Marion had his first music show at a club in Austin last week.
and he is playing again this coming monday, opening for our friends Bobbie, who are playing their first show in 2 years! it is free, but i believe 21 & up. at Plush on 7th & Red River downtown Austin. starts prolly 930ish.

John plays acoustic country and blues with a wicked twist. Bobbie is a funky instrumental jam band of sorts. they're badass. i've been friends with these dudes since high school (and before!). you can find them both on Myspace!!!!
