i watched the debate last night between Hillary Clinton and (the mighty) Barack Obama. I enjoyed listening to politicians for once!!!! and then i went to Obam's rally in front of the capitol, with my girl and her mom. it was freakin' awesome, to use the parlance of the times. what a diverse crowd. it got me really "jazzed," as they say.
i had lost interest for a while, and simply counted the days 'til Gdub gets ousted (though, if i had my way he'd be going to guantanamo). yet, here i am looking beyond all that. to the future. (key patriotic-sounding music here).
yeah, i'm growing up again. damnit! ah well, i knew my brain wasn't on permanent vacation.
sadly, we didn't get to the rally early enough to see George Lopez. that would have been entertainingly surreal.
i might be in a movie with him someday. that would be pretty surreal for me. and if, at the same time, a black man or a woman were sitting in the White House, you'd have to call my mind efficiently blown.
and i'd be pretty "jazzed," too.
word.
