It's good that you weren't fired...and I would say that the No call no show rule really only applies to people who take advantage of it too often...you know? because It's happened at my job, where people don't call three or four time, but since they are normally good workers, people make an allowance...but if they are lazy and slow and constatly late, their ass is on the curb...
and I definitely think it sounds more like a Porno movie than a kids movie...ussually when they fake a kidnapping in a kids movie they just end up getting yelled at, and there is no comic mischief invovled...ok, that's not a kid's movie, that's what happened to me when I faked a kidnapping...I could actually feel my ass getting chewed away for that one...
