Today was an ok day!!! I got to play tennis for like 3 hours which was really good. First with the complex's ALTA team and then with a good friend of mine... This person and I have always had a really great friendship and has stood for well a better part of a decade.

After we finished hitting the ball around we came back to my place tried to figure out what we wanted to eat and came up with "Hey I should cook!" It was yummy Pan seared New York strip with a butter shallot base topped off with a ginger peach papaya honey glaze. For the side we had steamed asparagus in a lemon butter sauce, and a Shrimp spinich salad with ginger dressing...

We also finished a bottle of Reisling and had a Sangria with fresh fruit with dinner .....

We attempted to watch Sideways but she ended up falling asleep so I suggested we stop the movie and wait till another night to finish the movie.

She took with her My John Stewart book "America" and I walked her to her car ....

It was what I needed to get my head off my ex ...Not that anything happened but it let me get back to the place where I can have a good time without the ex!!! YAY!!!
