Goddamn i hate myspace and the whole goddamn myspace culture. Not that i am against using the internet to meet people or get dates, i have done so in the past myself. Myspace just seems so, i dont know, noisy. I hate noisy websites, ten thousand goddamn things going on all at the same time on the few that i have seen. The users are mostly noisy too, noisy in that they have to make sure to check their goddamn myspace every hour on the hour.
To be sure, there are always exceptions and i do have one good friend that is on myspace but only uses it to keep in touch with old friends and fuck around with at work. In general though, it seems to me its just like Adult Friend Finder just less honest about the intent and too many goddamn underagers. I dont know if they have community type things on there such as here and Orkut (which i wasted a lot of time on for a very long time).
I guess what it comes down to is that to me, Myspace is kind of like going to a party when you are 16, you go, run around like an idiot and try to sleep with every member of the opposite sex there, and woe to any unattractive or shy people. I guess that is just my $.02, im sure that i can come up with more reasons why i hate myspace, but i think that this is a good start.
