Last night I made a joke about something being an onomatopoeia and nobody knew what the hell I was talking about. I either need to get some smarter friends or some dumber jokes.

I know exactly how you feel about having friends on different schedules. My friends are all in assorted stages in their careers/schooling so it is almost impossible to get them to commit to doing something with me.
My big thing right now is Halloween- I think people should commit to plans right now, and nobody will.
