Blogging Out Loud
I actually think that blogging is helping people get ides out there and improve our writings skills and ideas. Maybe it's cause now that I have joined the site and have had a chance to explore the creative output of it . I realize the great variety of ideas and concepts that come through in the site. I was trying to describe to a friend why I like this site and finally sat down to write to blog in it. I feel that people are letting their freak flag fly and reclaiming their sanity while doing so. If you have not listened to the Suicide Girls Radio Podcast do so just for the Intro by Manko.
I also recommend the Podcast episode "So Says You" http://suicidegirls.com/media/radio/SuicideGirls_Radio_2006-07-10.mp3. I should have listened to that when it came out.
The very expression of ideas in an organize manner actually helps define them in our minds and make the clearer even to the author. When I see the photograph sets , the hopeful submissions and the random postings there is an originality a sensuality and a positive sexuality that feels missing from so much art and porn out there.
I will discuss the difference between porn and art later , but so far I feel their is more art here than porn. I welcome a rebuttal in either way , if you think you are doing art show me and if you think you are doing porn by all means show me . If you think you are doing erotic art that has a healing sexual power that expresses the yearning in the human soul to reclaim the positive value of sex please show me!
Now I am also pleasantly surprised to see so many people from different parts of the world are on this site.Specially from South America, I wish there were more people like Bastet. She is very sexy . While I have the attention of Spanish Speaking crowd. This is fun even if you do not speak Spanish .
In closing why Californication? Not cause of Dani Ca the character that had the Suicide Girls logo Tattooed in her arm. Cause it's funny and cause it's got David Duchovny playing a douche and well I think he does that well. I mean he is a likable guy in a situation that is good if he can only get his creative side rolling again. I think things would get better if we all did that . The people in this site have.
