The Chicago Comic Con,

I showed up at the Premier Night on Thursday to see a convention room floor filled with a lot more Celebrities that than Comic Companies. The cool thing is that the Artist list was really awesome and they were all listed in Artist Alley. The Suicide Girls had a booth right upfront in the middle of all the celebrities. It was then that I met Tita and Shyla, I asked about the new Vegas Shoot DVD and was disappointed to hear it is not out yet. But I was told to bring my books and to have them all signed by the girls.

Friday
Long Lines , Broken Tendons and The First Day of Blue paint.
The first full day at the convention meant that my brother would be dressed as Skeletor. The fact is that my brother has no shame and does not mind rocking out with his cock out. So after having the hood and the lion cloth made , he wore his swim short ( the smallest ones he had ) and had me paint him blue using the airbrush. Do he did his skull make up and we headed out to the convention by train . We jumped into the blue line at Chicago and Milwaukee. We did crowd control and took care of the Wizard Booth were Mark Millar signed and was amazing to his fans. The man signed almost everything they put in front of him . Despite having a broken tendon on his right arm from a Tennis injury. He had a panel and they showed 20 min of footage from Kick-Ass the movie. The movie looks awesome and if you are not familiar with Kick-Ass ,well imagine a real kid trying to be a super hero ,getting way over his head and then figures out how real super heroes are way too much for him to handle.

Saturday
Longer Meaner Lines , a better Skeletor Make-up and a better paint job.
The advanced ticket holders were not the happiest of people on Saturday. In fact they were quite unhappy and The mark Millar Lines were actually not very pleasant either . The combination of heat ,fan boys and signature limit was rough. But I did get to buy Elmo and Oscar The Grouch cup cakes for the Suicide Girls booth . So if you wondered why the Sesame Street Characters . Well it has to do with the fact that the make up artist that painted Skeletor the second day needed to pick up breakfast and Whole Foods was on the way to the con. So we picked her up some food and Cupcakes.
The good thing about Saturday is that I was again taking care of the Millar line . After 45 of playing bad cop to a bunch of fans. I looked at them and told them " This is not a good day and I am going to go and ask the Suicide girls to cheer me up". I walked over from the line to the Suicide Girls. There I had the following exchange with Churtch.

Me : hey
Churtch : what's up?
Me :nothing , you guys already have my books, I already bought everything you guys are selling.
Churtch: I was going to say , we still have this books from last year.
Me: I cannot buy anything from you, So I bought Cupcakes for you.
Churtch: really?
Me: The Oscar the Grouch and the Elmo cupcakes .
Churtch: okay , then you deserve a hug.

After getting a hug from Churtch Suicide . I walked over back to the line and the look of disbelief on the face of the fan boys. I just told them " The Suicide Girls can tell when someone needs a hug."

Sunday
way too long to tell , way to tiring to describe and way to hot. Now I have blue make up on my passenger seat and a paper mache skull in my car.
