So I pulled up to work at Concert Pub on Friday night and one of the managers meets me at the car to inform me that I had been let go. They didn't tell him why, just that he had to tell me cuz we're friends. I'm not pissed or anything, business is business. I do feel a bit disrespected though. After 4 years, I feel I deserve to be talked to properly. I've always been loyal to the club and completely honest, I've never taken a single dollar that wasn't mine and I don't drink on the job the way half the staff does. All the regulars love me and have already started voicing their thoughts. Oh well, time to move forward.
I've got big things in the works but that is still months away. Until then...gotta find a new gig quick.
