Well, here I am again, my birthday is on Monday, October 20 and I'm going to reach 33. Yep, the age Christ was when he died. If I make it to next Easter, I'm home free, right?
I haven't had a lot to celebrate in the last few years, what with spiraling into a danky danky deep pit of despair, but this year is different. I've started writing again, I've made a hell of a lot of progress with my health, appearance and self-image by biking everywhere, and I've started being social and gaming again.
Oh, it turns out my bike has 24 gears instead of 16. I took it in for a minor repair, and all of a sudden I had access to the 8 highest gears that I thought were nonfunctional. Zoom!
I digress. In celebration of my 33rd, I'm having a party at my new apartment this friday, October 17. If you'd like to come drink and/or play board and card games, toss a message to me and I'll respond with the details.
