What the hell is going on? McCain makes one crazy gaffe after another and Sarah Palin, who I feared as a wild card, has either proven herself to be the most incompetant VP pick since Eagleton or is intentionally acting like an idiot so that she looks fantastic by remembering her own name at the VP debate.
If Obama were white or maybe just named "Barry Dunham," he'd be 15 points ahead by now. I'm not even going to complain about racism; it's not intentional most of the time anymore; people just don't like the black guy for no reason that they can think of.
Anyway.
There's a number of debate watching parties tonight. Bridget tells me that I need to get involved with the campaign because the next 40 days are "critical for scoring grade A Democrat pussy," I believe were her exact words. Very good then. We'll see how it goes.
