As Rage Against the Machine would say, FUCK YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME!

Er, to be clear, I'm talking to John McCain when he tells me not to vote for Obama. I have been prObama for awhile now, but if I hadn't been, the Republican National Convention would have put me squarely against John McCain.

I mean, seriously. Tear gassing the press? Shutting down lawful concerts while riot cops line up with rubber bullets and clubs? Sarah Fucking Palin? C'mon now.

I wrote a little about my Adventures in a Police State in the TC forum, so I won't go into detail. Suffice to say, I hope rabid weasels attack Karl Rove's crotch for his effects on the policies in place for the convention.

In other news, I went and lifted weights today. I'd hit a plateau where I wasn't losing any more weight from bike riding alone; I'm thinking I can convert some fat into upper body muscle. Also, if I lift weights enough, I'll have a good excuse to go blow money on a massage therapist.

My friends forced me to take all my board and card games back that I'd been storing at their place over the years. Anyone want to play Munchkin?
