I am PrObama. I am an Obamaton. I want to live in an Obamanation. This week has been an Obamarama.

I did the research; I'm not a mindless robot doing what the mainstream media says (and to be sure, the media loves the fact that he is a thorn in [the] Clinton[s]'s side). While I am a shameless bleeding heart liberal and Obama's policies are great to me, I'm actually more interested in the feeling I get when I listen to him speak and read the words that he writes. What's that funny feeling? Is it... relief?

In any other contest, I would be soundly behind Hillary Clinton. She's a tough competitor and easily qualified to be president. But even during her husband's presidency, I was a little on edge... like they were just telling me what I wanted to hear. I don't doubt that they did a lot of good... but I was never at ease with them.

Barack Obama... well, he makes me think that he'd just come out and tell me when the shit's bad, but also explain how we can go about fixing it. I think that's what the country needs: someone to tell us all how to fix it, instead of someone who will tell us to go about our business and take that vacation we were planning when terrorists slammed airplanes into our people and stuff.

Anyway, I have never gotten involved with primary politics before, but it seemed important to not let this primary be run away with by a heavily favored establishment candidate when there's someone who honestly shares my goals up there in the running.

I'm planning on attending the Target Center rally on Saturday, and will be at Bryant Lake Bowl to caucus on Tuesday night.

Amen, brotha.
I was bummed that I missed the rally, but that's just one of the drawbacks of being stuck in Wisconsin. I'm pulling out all the stops to make it to the caucus on Super Tuesday though, so I'm at least doing a little of my part
