This weekend was great. My friend got us the hook up for Macy's Music Fest and we got back stage!!! Wish I'd actually remembered to bring my camera, but did manage to snap a few out of focus and too dark pictures with the camera on my phone. Kanye West was Friday night and he put it down. I felt bad for the Gap Band, who were the final act of the night, because lots of people left during their set.

Saturday's line up was the shit as well. I met and got a hug from Fantasia (highlight of the year)
she is so tiny!!! Patti La Belle was the final act of the night and she was amazing. Her voice is still strong after all these years.

Sunday I actually went to work (didn't really have the clearing from the bosses for taking the weekend off, but screw it. I got too much dirt on my bosses for them to ever say anything to me.

Still sending out resumes but nothing so far. I want to go work for a smalltown paper in a coastal town. That way if they fire me for being hopelessly incompetent I drink myself into a stupor near the ocean. I might break down and apply other places when I get desperate, but for now I'll hold out for the dream job.

almost forgot: Vitamin Water is the nectar of the gods and I gave away my guitar since I hardly play it (and never well)
