We had to bug bomb today, leaving Flopcat and my roommate stuck in the greenhouse for four hours. Flopcat howled and meowed the whole time and was getting so annoying that we had took take him for a ride in the car. We stopped at the library and each of us took turns sitting in the car with Flopcat while the other went inside.
On the way back from the library we saw a couch on the side of the road. We went back the next day and it was still there so we knocked on the door of the house, asked if we could take the couch. The owner not only said we could have the couch, but she also gave us some extra pillows. Unfortunately it was too large and we couldn't get it inside so we left it in the greenhouse and moved that one inside. We like it there because now it's like we have two living rooms.
As you can see, Flopcat took to the new couch and stretched out and napped for the rest of the evening.
Sorry about the condition of the picture. The lighting was horrible but when capturing pets in normal life many times you just shoot first and hope you can salvage an image before they stop doing that adorable thing they are doing that prompted you to grab the camera in the first place.
here's what the couch looks like in better lighting:
The videoblogs are up and amazingly enough 74 people have downloaded our first podcast since I uploaded it on Friday. That's impressive since this is the only place I even mentioned it's existence. To be honest, even I haven't sat through the whole thing, but if anyone is curious you can find it here
Well, I have to finish transfering the second episode so I'm off. For those who read my last entry and were wondering, yes that story about the thong being discarded in the tunnel at the airport is true. We didn't gamble with them. They were tossed in the dumpster, but not before checking the videotapes to catch the girl who was so trifling.
