I spent the day moving furniture for my aunt. A neighbor died and she bought a lot of his belongings at the auction. It seemed kind of creepy watching his neighbors pick through his belongings. He didn't live long enough to find out that apparently his entire life went on sale and was valued to be worth about $1500 plus however much they get for the old house. I only met the man a handful of times in my life but I was kind of sad because he had no family there to cry for him or be consoled. It was very businesslike.
You can't help but look at your own life and try to imagine how the situation would be if it were you. personally I don't think you would get $500 for my crap. Then again what could you expect for a stack Maxims and a some bootleg DVDs???
