HAPPY NEW YEAR SNITCHES!!! 
It is truly unbelievable that I've made it another year. Thanks to the holidays I'm broke again so at least I'm starting the year in the same shape as last year. There is a difference since I'm in the middle of pre-work on writing my first play in a decade. It's weird going through the process of creating the characters and their world but so far I like them and I hope people will enjoy visiting. I'm creating it especially for blackbox theaters because I've always loved them and it seems better suited for this play. That's not to say that if someone should one day stage it on a big proscenium or thrust I'd be all butt hurt, but the play only has five characters and takes place in an artist's loft so it's not like it need lots of space to stage.
I am technically playing hookey from working on it by being here but I am still trying to get to know their personalities and discover their histories. I promised my friend that I could have a first draft done in a month and am reasonably confident I can accomplish this. My only hickup is that I've yet to fully form the third female lead. Unfortunately her main purpose is exposition but if you don't go through the same process for her as the rest she comes off exactly that way. I'm rewarding the actress with the best lines and she'll probably be the one of the funniest characters and were it physically possible would be the role I'd wan't to play.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with her and she's even more lovely in person. Rumors abound that she might have another set coming soon!!!
While I'm at it give some love and support to Walkere as well. Why her two sets aren't already on the front page is a mystery that needs to be solved. As my Uncle Ricky used to say she's five miles of good road. You can see way more of her in a little bit of sexiness here
