I found my fuzzy dice and the last pair of beads I still have left from the last time I was in New Orleans three years ago. I'll put those momentos in the car tommorrow morning. Would've had a picture up but my phone won't send pics to the folder like it used to for some reason.

Mom looked so much smaller in the hospital bed today. As she told me of her kidney failure and how I probably got her there just in time, I am again reminded how fragile my parents are. I've towered over the both of them for nearly a decade now but I still remember looking up and asking her a million questions about everything under the sun or marveling at his amazing feats of stremgth. He needs help getting his shoes on and off nowadays because he never mentioned the price he paid for carrying those heavy burdens life gave him.
I just hope she gets back to reading stories to her grandson Jordan soon because he misses her as much as I do
