The only resolution I am making this year is about making 2009 better than 2008.

In 2008:

-I lost my career
-I lost more than half of my friends
-I lost my house
-I think I made myself crazier than I was before

BUT...I did re-connect with somebody very important to me. We made peace. I hate unresolved issues with loved ones.

I did make one new very good friend, with whom I have a very nice friendship.

I did leave Florida...I really, really needed to get out of there, at least for a little while. It was killing me. I hate being cold, but I need my soul more than I need sun.

I might go back. If I do, it will be on completely different terms. I won't fall into the same traps I did before.

Anybody reading this cares about me in some way. For this, I am happy. I care about you, too! For my friends, I will go to bat anytime. I love you guys...let's make 2009 a good year. Let's be honest and mindful of the feelings and dignity of others. Let's be responsible, and let's do the things we need to do in order to make the world a better place.
