Aside from the gallons of lotion I am going through, I must contend with this:



By the way, that's 2:00 PM. There is no sun here for days. Also, that is a street that was plowed.

All up and down the side streets, people have to deal with this:



FYI, under an inch or so of snow, that's ICE. I think that car is staying there until about March 16th. On Monday I spent about 2 hours digging out my car and then I had to have 2 people help me push it out onto the street. This was AFTER I dug it out on Friday for two hours and said, "Fuck this; I spent all this time digging my car out, and there is no WAY I am giving up this parking spot on a Friday!" All things considered, I should have just stayed in bed. My car wouldn't start because of the bitter, bitter cold. Her is the only sun I have seen in about a month:



Doesn't look too bad, right? Well, unfortunately, that day (Monday) had a HIGH TEMPERATURE OF -2 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. I walked outside to take out the trash and my lungs instantly crystallized into a mentholated brick of flesh. My testicles shrunk up into my pelvis and clanked around like two ice cubes in a White Russian. JESUS it was cold.

I'm sure Florida is bright and sunny right now. You know what? I'm fine with that. I'm still happy to be here with so much to do. If I can just start working everything will be OK
