Well, I'm off again for a bit. I've had nine days at home since last weekend due to various things including my mentor're truck refusing to start. But that's sorted out and I guess he'll be by to pick me up around midnight.
Got to do a little ice fishing and relliving old hangout behavoirs. Read some more Tolkien. Frodo and Sam have just nabbed gollum and he's leading them across the Dead Marshes.
My training period was sposta end march 7th but I was off the truck, officially for 3 or 4 days so I don't know If they're going to add that on to the time I have to be aboard vehicle, but It's no big deal. Then after that I shall have my own truck hopefully. I'm rather nervous about doing it all on my own. My mentor also keeps mentioning that a lot of people are waiting for trucks. I shall be sorely vexed if I have to wait for one, as I want to use my income tax refund to purchase a laptop computer, not least fo stay connected to SG land, but if they don't get me working I won't be able to use the money for that.
So depending on how much more training I have to do and whether I get my own truck and whether I head out on the road with it or just head back here for a day or two . . . well, nothing. I'll just be back at some point.
