Not doing too much this week, have my bags packed, ready to hit the road, just waiting for the phone call; making a few as well.

Been rereading a book on zen by Dainin Katagiri. At the end of one chapter he points out that you can develop yourself as an artist so as to support your ego, or you can forget yourself and give yourself entirely to your art. The latter way is an infinitely better way to take care of your life, to become fully engaged in it and become free of yourself.

I can feel how my ego pulls its supports in close, like a blanket. Freedom is always this great sounding thing, I'll just start being free tomorrow. It's easy to waste your life because you need only waste a moment at a time.

Been nosing around on truckpaper.com a little bit, price shopping big rigs. A little prematurely I know but I guess the idea of owning my own mechanical behemoth intrigues me, so I investigate it.

I think that it's possible to meet someone and start up a relationship when you're out on the road, but first you have to decide to believe in the possibility. Whatever. here are some pictures.

A beard is great in cold weather but it adds about ten years to my visual age. I hate it for that reason but for now I'm only in the company of truck drivers so my beauty is rather a non-issue. Not that it ever was an issue. Just never been much for talking to people. Somehow I shall have to learn to believe in the possibility of talking to people.

Love and kisses to all, in case I have to be off in a hurry. I guess I'll drop in now and then, on the road.

A lot of people DO suck. And sexuality should be fun. I don't think stripping would be fun. But I totally understand the draw to do it, just for kicks. I had a friend shoot a set of me, SG style. I am pretty sure I'll never send it in (did I mention the paranoia?), but I like it. And it was really quite fun. Empowering even.
