i gu3ess I have to update a bit.

My hands are a mess from my new job. Ripping open boxes all day has rubbed skin off my knuckles and made my fingertips and nails really sore. They also want us in for 5am every day this week as well as coming in on saturday. I fucking hate that. I have to get up about an hour after when I usually prefer to turn in.
Last night I watched Elizabethtown, which was an ok movie if perhaps not the equal of garden state, among similarly themed movies. I think that the experience was damaged somewhat by my being worried about not getting enough sleep if I stayed up to watch it. Having to try to get to sleep early sunday night so as to wake up at 350 am monday morning runs rather contrary to the concept of a weekend. I really need to get out of this first shift shit. Tomorrow I have a job interview at 4pm, exactly 12 hours after getting up at 4am for my job. But at least if I get THAT job i can do second shift, rather more civilized. I don't feel so bad about my job when I'm at it but when I'm at home thinking about my schedule in relationship to it, it poses rather a challenge to my ability to cultivate feelings on nonobstruction and openness.

Former GF of mine was a huge fan of the soundtrack of Elizabethtown, and I understand why. I was singing Free Bird quietly to myself all day at work. I never got what a powerful iconic song it was until now.

I find it rather sillly and tiresome when people just post song lyrics in their journals, but I will say that I find that

If i leave here tomorrow, will you still remember me?

Has an iconic power, truth and greatness to it that eludes today's music. Music seems to have lost its greatness since Kurt Cobain blew his head off. Blah.

About all the blog I have for you right now, I guess.
