Well, this is it.
"It" being my first official online journal entry. I wonder if anyone will read it. There are two reasons why I've become an SG member.
1. Hot naked gothy chicks. I wish I was a hot naked gothy chick.
2. Now and then I click through other online journal sites that have various people I know on them. For the most part online journals just show how ordinary and boring ordinary boring people are. On SG you can find people who have some fire and some interesting things to say.
This afternoon after I did my profile I went out for a walk in the eight inches of fresh massachusetts snow. I live in a trailer park bounded by a river, a chemical factory, a nice residential neghborhood, an industrial park, and a small wooded area between the industrial park and the river. So I pointed my toes toward the wooded area, and when I was walking through a clearing were people ride trail bikes in the summer I saw three deer browsing small trees about a hundred yards in front of me in what looked like a japanese or chinese landscape, while there were corrugated metal industrial buildings about a hundred yards to my left. I approached them and took some pictures on my digital camera. The scene really needed to be shot on 4x5 to do it justice though. I just read that you can't upload photos directly from your hard drive. Shame about that. Now I'm going to have to learn how to get pictures on the web somewhere else. But I understand it's necessary to keep whe website software clean.
Anyway, I approached them to within maybe 50-75 yards and they raised their flags and bounded off through the trees. I'm glad I took that walk. I tend to get down on myself and about life but one thing I like about being me is that I can find beauty in places that everyone else just drives by and never thinks to look.
