i could say the moon was full, but it wasn't, still on the wane or the wax, but it didn't matter b/c it was bright. we could see the field fresh cut and fragrant glimmering with the just forming dew silver to the dark treeline where the fireflies were flashing like mad, in a frenzy to hook up, to get it on, saying over and over in little flashes lookitmelookitme.
we were waiting hours to kiss. hours on that sweet anticipatory and shy line. she was trying to point out draco in the sky and i coulldn't see her's but i could see a hundred others. we laughed and were goofy. waiting waiting waiting. absurd and fun. we had climbed on one of those big hay stacks which really aren't stacks but mechanically rolled cylinders of hay. anyway, a bet was made, the wager something we both wanted and i said i don't believe in gambling and it was like entering the platonic realm, where things exist in the ideal, in their absoluteness. and here was a kiss. me and infinite empitiness and a kiss! i was the top and bottom of my lip, my tiny transperant hairs on the edges and that was it. and who could say how much the grass had grown then? how long it lasted? how many degrees the world turned? how many alternate dimensions coincided for a moment and split never to meet again? but i know that all everywhere everything was perfect. i was 18 and it was the first time i saw the sunrise in my entire life.

I think I would have achieved a great and secret goal, if I could let R.A. Wilson know personally, face-to-face, that he managed to wake one kid up and that even if I don't do much with my life, I can never thank him enough for that. I want him to smile when I tell him. Genesis P. Orridge told me (I met him at a talk he gave) that what you DON'T see through his books are the personal tragedies that ocurred in his private life that Genesis would only hint at.

You are a Man of Prose aren't you?

i noticed that on the dvd too! he DID do it on purpose. sort of like "fuck you, you'll watch this thing in it's entirety instead of skipping around and making it easy for yourself."

he is evil and wonderful.

p.s. what a lovely entry.
